Canton – Vento 50 – 3-way Center Speaker (Single)

Canton has redesigned the look and technology of their Vento premium speaker series. Thanks to the modern design, with discreetly curved side panels, rounded cabinet edges and high-quality surfaces with a perfect finish, the new Vento speakers have a very self-assured appearance. The harmoniously proportioned premium speakers offer a perfect balance between timeless elegance and powerful performance. This allows the Vento models to be used universally – they are an enrichment for the most diverse living spaces. At the center of the acoustic action is our new Vento 50 center speaker, which sets the tone for your home cinema with its magnificent features, both visually and technically. The stately 3-Way center offers immense dynamics as well as ideally balanced tuning. With its clear and precise voice reproduction, it presents dialogue sharply delineated. The Vento 50 center also scores with powerful bass, detailed treble and the finest workmanship.

The Vento 50 center speaker relies on the outstanding technical properties of Canton’s newly developed drivers with titanium graphite diaphragms, which are distinguished by their understated elegance due to the matt shimmer of the diaphragms. The drivers nestle seamlessly into the high-gloss lacquered baffles without any visible screw connections. The latest generation of wave surrounds, capable of particularly large excursions, ensure the deepest, cleanest bass and a high power handling capacity. The new driver technology is based on the previous titanium drivers: their surface is treated in a complex chemical process and brought to a new level acoustically. The aim was to minimize or completely eliminate the partial vibrations that damage the sound. With less weight, the new titanium graphite chassis are stiffer and have better damping. In addition, the new drivers work as perfect piston transducers and thus offer ideal conditions for reproducing acoustic signals one-to-one, without losses.

The speaker terminals in the new Ventos have been redesigned both visually and technically to ensure maximum conductivity. The solid screw terminals, in single or bi-wiring design depending on the Vento model, hold cable cross-sections of up to 10 mm² and offer the option of accommodating speaker cables with banana plugs or fork bridges. The upgraded terminals have a special high-quality and conductive material, with new terminals and a finer thread. As a result, Canton has also achieved reference-worthy contacting in the Vento series for perfect sound development and long-term stable contact to connected amplifiers. The innovations of the Vento series continue with the high-quality fabric covers. If necessary, they conceal a direct view of the technology and hold onto the baffles with powerful magnets. The straight panels at the top and discreetly curved panels at the bottom provide an unobtrusive, calm appearance. Thanks to the flat design, the acoustically neutral fabric panels nestle harmoniously on the baffles. All their Vento speakers are equipped with inconspicuous black fabric covers that do not affect the sound of the premium speakers.

The Vento 50 center speaker has a multi-layer laminate enclosure that is constructed in many individual steps and has multiple bracing on the inside. This makes the Vento 50 enclosure very solid and immune to resonances that would negatively affect the sound. Sophisticated damping of the cabinet and selected crossover components of the highest quality are further factors in the sound optimization of the 3-Way Vento 50 center speaker. In the elegant center speaker with its rear-vented bass reflex cabinet, one titanium-graphite woofer and one titanium-graphite midrange driver each in 174mm (6.85″) format provide precise bass and clean midrange. Thanks to Wave Bead technology and the powerful drives of all drivers, the Vento 50 follows acoustic signals quickly and precisely. Canton’s high-caliber 25mm (0.98″) dome tweeter with aluminum oxide ceramic diaphragm turns the stately Vento 50 center speaker into a broadband performer.
